Classes and Services

Classes - The following is a brief description of the classes that are offered.  For information about specific dates, locations and prices click the Current Schedule.

Chakra Balancing
This 2 hour class includes an overview of the body's energy system with a focus on the 7 chakra system. Students practice techniques to scan and assess their energy and that of others, as well as techniques to bring that energy back into balance for themselves, and experience a guided meditation for relaxation and balance. Handouts are provided so the student can practice these techniques at home. This class is an excellent introduction to energy before taking a Reiki class or as a companion to your Reiki studies.

Reiki 1

This course is an introduction to Reiki.  You will learn about its history, the body’s energetic system, and how to give a Reiki session to yourself and others. You will receive the Usui Reiki Ryoho Level 1 attunement and have hands on practice giving Reiki to others during class. You will receive The International Center for Reiki Training’s class manual as your textbook.

Reiki 2

In this course you will learn techniques to refine and focus the use of Reiki energy for healing, transformation, as well as cleansing and clearing. You will learn the Level 2 symbols, how to use them and how to give a distant healing session. You will receive the Level 2 attunement and have hands on experience using the symbols and giving distant Reiki energy. We will use The International Center for Reiki Training’s class manual.

Reiki 3 (Advanced Reiki Training and Reiki Master)

This course combines Reiki Master Practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher training.  You will learn how to create a crystal grid to send Reiki continuously, a grounding moving meditation and an aura clearing technique. All symbols will be reviewed and the complete Usui/Tibetan symbols of the International Center for Reiki Training’s system of healing will be taught. Students receive the Advanced Reiki Training attunement, the Reiki Master attunement and a healing attunement. You receive hands on practice using all the symbols and passing all of the Reiki attunements. Time will be spent discussing how to plan and teach Reiki to others.
